Don't worry. Just be prepared - recs, letters, clothes,etc. Then go through rush and be yourself. (Just don't talk about boys, religion, money, politics, etc.) Keep an open mind - don't think that the top houses are the only houses. You'll be fine. We're looking forward to meeting you!

So if sororities party and dat boys and some are probably religious and some are probably rich, why is it bad to talk about those things, or seem like you party, etc?

Political means that basically its all in who you know. This is true to some extent, but then again thats true at any school with a recruitment program similar in size to OU's.

Bring as little as possible to each house during rush because you won't be able to take anything inside any of the houses. You'll have to leave any purses and things on the porch or designated area at each house. If possible, don't bring anything at all to any of the rush parties.
