Most top houses know prior to rush beginning who they plan on cuttying on Day 1. In the top houses it's based on your grades and reputation in HS. During Rush, it's whether the girls in the house feels you belong. Every member gets a vote and majority wins. If you know someone in a house that's great, but that person has one vote. Be nice, and friendly with everyone you meet. Most of all be yourself - and don't be fake!

Of course girls on here are going to tell you false information... the rankings are that girls own opinion. like I personally don't think kappa is classy at all wether their shirts say so or not. but that is just my experience everyone has different ones. I can tell you I know some AMAZINGLY swet DG's and AXO's who are the classiest girls i've ever met and I've met some classy and unlcassy piphi's. I've met classy girls from every house and any ranking a girl gives you is most likely based off of biased opinion of one girl she's met in another house and her own house. please have your own opinion and understand that once rush is over, you realize it is not as big of deal what house you are in. Everyone is friends with everyone

I would much rather be an alpha phi or a chi omega than a gamma phi. As for those who say gamma phi is classier, have you taken a look at their facebooks or really seen them when theyre out?!

AGREED! I don't know why people keep saying that G Phi is a better house than Chi O or A Phi

There are a lot of Alpha Phi's on this site that are trying to make their house seem better than it actually is. They have a hard time filling pledge classes, snap bid girls after rush, have high drop out rates, and they don't have the same grade standards as Kappa, Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, Tri Delt, and Theta. Alpha Phi can no longer snap bid this year (were allowed to do this because they were a new house) those are undisputed facts. They have an expensive house and need to have large pledge classes to support it. They take good girls but also take girls of questionable reputations the other houses have passed on. Are there great girls at Alpha Phi's, yes, as there are at every house @ OU. Honestly, Chi O should honestly be much, much higher in the rankings. Talk to girls that actually go to OU and are part of the greek system and don't think these rankings are accurate, please you would be making a huge mistake

That explains a lot. I am a member to the greek community at OU and have not been able to understand why A Phi keeps getting all the rave reviews on here. In real life they're not that good.

I disagree. I know I've been on here and given Alpha Phi a good rating, and I'm in a top four house. We're all just giving credit where credit is due. Doesn't mean we think that Alpha Phi is a top house, but they're certainly moving way up.

wow girls. these are all anonymous comments. you don't even know what houses are giving themselves self-ranks or not. you want to see self-ranks? look at kappa! they are giving themselves all 5's and at the same time admitting that they are kappas while also fighting with each other. It is impossible to tell who is self-rannking themselves. ALSO, every house has been bashed on here in some way shape or form, not just gamma phi, and honestly no house deserves that and mostly all of it is untrue. and even if it is true it should not be the judging factor of the house. gamma phi may not be ranked so high but they are a good house. Alpha Phi is a great house and CHi-o and Dg are also great houses too. none should be bashed on. The respect I give though is to Chi-O. their page has all these mean comments and they have ignored them as far as I can see and have no even associated with this website, but once again it's anonymous so no one really knows.
