Ok in reality, do I think they're classy or attractive this year? Definitely not. But Chi Omega is the largest women's sorority, has great alum support and has a spectacular name to back up a decent house. Rushees coming in aren't going to think of A Phi and Gamma Phi as top house because no one knows about them yet. Chi O will still be a top choice for PNMs because of the name, even if they don't know what they're getting themselves into quite yet. This will keep happening year after year until someone breaks the cycle and helps the smaller houses get recognition. In my opinion, Theta is a less extreme case, but still similar

Chi Omega is no longer top 5. They've only relied on the fact that, as the person below said, people assume they're a top house because of the name. In reality, houses like Gamma Phi and A Phi are working harder to make themselves better and deserve the top 5 spot more. Chi O can still come back, but Gamma Phi and A Phi have done such a good job with improvements that next year I think the results in rush will surprise a lot of people.

Are you all really willing to say A Phi is the number 5 house though? I think it should still be Chi O then A Phi but this seems to be the general consensus.

I'm willing to semi-agree with that, but Alpha Phi is MUCH better than Gamma Phi and Chi O is MUCH better than DG.

ehhh, i think a phi and gamma phi are at a standstill for 5/6. you could really put either one in either spot.

My opinion is that the person right below is absolutely wrong on the first one. Alpha Phi is okay this year, but Gamma Phi is better and has been for years. They're one of the classiest and most involved houses at OU. Alpha Phi may have more cute girls but Gamma Phi has a lot too. There really isn't any comparison.
As to Chi O and DG, they're both bad so I don't care which one you put first. Alpha Phi is above both of them.
I'm not in any of those houses so this is an unbiased opinion.

i'm not either. and i agree that gamma phi is very classy and involved. but so is alpha phi, really. i'd put gamma phi at number 5 and alpha phi at a close 6th. then chi o. then dg.
