You should have recs for every house at OU. The website says you don't need them, but recruitment is pretty competitive and you'll have recs if you want to have the best chance of ending up where you feel most comfortable.

You are the one who will select the sorority you love in your heart. Jealousy can drive one to just be flat out MEAN. So the more hate on a certain sorority probably means that they are doing better than just fine.

so true!! i've had friends from other schools visit OU and rave about how good all of the sororities are. they talked about how at their schools, there were very obvious stereotypes for every house, but that at OU every house was a good house. and it's so true. this website makes me sad because it gives pnm's false ideas about the OU greek system. every house is amazing, they all are involved, have great girls, and do well for themselves. a pnm would be lucky to join any of the chapters. this website is just a way for jealous girls to bash on houses that are their competition, and it's unproductive and toxic.

PNM please listen to people when they tell you not to drop out of recruitment because you get cut by top houses. I went through recruitment and dropped out when I got cut by the top 3 houses. A middle tier house was very interested in me but I didn't give it a chance. I later realized they were a great house with a strong sisterhood and I still regret it.

I am not an AOII. If you would have really looked at my post you would see that I didn't join any house. I still regret it because I missed out on the bonding, sisterhood and ritual associated with a house.
