Tri Delt is definitely not number 2.

You could argue Tri Delta is #1 since they won President's Trophy. Still, I think it is definite that Chi O isn't top 5.

If you're going to argue that Tri Delt is #1 b/c of winning president's trophy, then shouldn't AGD have been #1 last year? I'm not saying that they shouldn't be ranked highly but I think President's Trophy shouldn't be the sole criteria of a house's ranking.

I think Tri-Delt is a great house... maybe not top 2 but still a great house to be in.

If I was a PNM going through, this would be my desire for houses:

1: Theta or Kappa (similar to me)
2: Tri-Delt
3: Pi Phi
4: Gamma Phi
5: Delta Gamma
6: AOPi
7: Alpha Chi
8: Alpha Phi
9: Chi O
10: AGD

I'm going to agree generally but make a few changes in the middle. I put a space between the first tier, the middle tier, and the lower tier. I think there's a world of difference between the top 5 and the ones below. All the top 5 are very different to me, especially Theta and Kappa. (One of those is my house!) Anyway, I think all the top 5 are good choices for the top pnms. All our houses are good, though, depending on where a pnm feels comfortable.

1: Theta or Kappa
2: Tri-Delt
3: Pi Phi or Gamma Phi

4: AOPi
5: Delta Gamma
6: Alpha Phi
7: Chi O
8: Alpha Chi

9: AGD

I like the idea of the tiers. It is hard to rank houses in 1, 2, 3 order when they all have strengths and weaknesses. PNMs should look at a tier and choose a house that is like them. In the top 5, though, I agree that any PNM will find girls that are wonderful examples of all these categories. In a house known for grades you will still find very involved, pretty girls. In one known for pretty girls you will still find smart, involved ones, etc.

I think that all PNMs should just honestly look at the house that they feel comfortable in. Don't try to change yourself to fit in with them. Realize these girls may be pretty or have a lot of money or be dancers or be awkward but at the end of the day if you can't be yourself with the girls then forget enjoying it...

True. All houses have all kinds of girls. My only concern is that PNMs need to know what the reputations are because they're going to be either fitting in with them or having to explain how they're different. The biggest problem is with girls that party sloppy and those that don't. Classy girls don't like to go to parties with their sisters and go home alone because their sisters are involved in drunken hook ups.
