This is actually the rankings as far as selectivity goes from last recruitment. I would agree that the top 5 are far more selective than the rest. Actually every house at OU does an amazing job at recruitment.

I am a little confused on why so many people on this site believe Gamma Phi IS a top 5 house. I am not saying they are NOT a good house. They are. But I would still put Chi-O, A-Chi-O, or even DG before them. I am not in any of those houses so I am not promoting my house or anything. I just really don't think most people view Gamma Phi as a top 5 house. And they are no more selective than A-Chi, Chi-O, or DG. If anything those houses seem to be more selective than Gamma Phi. And if someone wants to claim its because they are competitive...so are those others house. And if that is the case...AOPi should really take that spot.

Just a little confused by people propelling them to the top 5 thats all. I just feel like its their view that they are trying to get people to accept...and I for one am not buying it. atleast not now.

prob going to be people that disagree with this but..just MY opinion.

1. Theta
2. Kappa (someone said below, theta and kappa are basically equal, but theta has an edge)
3. Tridelt (thought they had a great rush this year and won presidents trophy! still might not be top 2..but they're legit)
4. Pi Phi (i think they're pretty average, nothing special though, a TON of rushees said they had the worst rush and it was awkward, but they got first in grades!!)
5. DG (def not a top 3.. shouldnt be under all those houses. 2nd in grades and hc queen 2 ..or 3 idk...years in a row. actually are pretty involved, def moving up)
6. Chi-O (used to be good, sunk down though, still good girls, heard during rush they were awkward)
7. Gamma Phi (nice girls, seem to be just a huge group of random diff girls)
8. AXO (love to party, some rude, okay house)
9. AOPI (awkward, okay house)
10. APHI (took basically anyone this year, not so good house, but they think they are)
11. AGD (nice girls, awkward though)

4. gamma phi
5. kappa
6. chi o
7. dg
8. alpha phi
9. aopi
10. alpha chi

Tri Delt, Theta, and Pi Phi will always out rank kappa.
kappa is on the same level as Gamma Phi. Gamma Phi is climbing the ranks.

These rankings are in no particular order within the number. All the houses in the top two tiers are very good. The ones in the third tier are acceptable. The ones in the fourth tier have some good aspects. The fifth tier has a great sisterhood.

pretty close to perfect. I might just do 4 tiers with AGD joining the others on line 4.

There is a big difference between the top 5 and the bottom 6. Any of the top 5 are fine - go where you're comfortable. Don't go to the bottom 6 unless you get released by all the top 5. Each of the bottom houses has serious issues.
