I think it is obvious that the guy claiming to be a Beta below isn't really one. Most of the Betas I know would put our amazing USING girls the Gamma Phis right up there. I'd say:
Theta, Tri Delt, Gamma Phi, Kappa,Pi Phi, Chi O.

The top houses will always be in the top no matter of how bad of pledge classes they get because they have a good name. They focus on taking pretty girls and looking down on everyone else.

5. Chi Omega

The middle tier are houses that work hard to be in the top five but just can't make it there yet. Not necessarily the classiest (dg) but still alot of pretty girls

Bottom feeders just either don't try at all (axo) or try really hard but can't shake their poor reputations.

i'd agree with that. girls always hear about those sororities. i'd never heard of aopi or gamma phi before i went through rush, and i'm not saying those are bad houses, but those 5 are the ones girls grow up hearing about and desire most to be in.

I agree with you...these are the 5 houses the girls go through rush hearing the most about and wanting to be in. They discover through rush that some of these other houses are darn good, but they still tend to want to be in the 5 houses they have heard the most about. Human nature. I think it takes time to change this, and I do agree that some of the mid tier houses are really good and have really pretty girls with excellent pledge classes!

I heard stuff from my mom and her friends about the houses you mentioned, but when I looked at the girls from my high school and what sororities they were in, I realized that the 21st century is a little different than the 20th. I cut my legacy house (one of the ones you mentioned on top)because I didn't want to end up there. I think if you look at the PCs, you'll see lots of girls made decisions like I did. Besides, who would want to be in a house like you describe -- one that recruits only on looks and looks down on the other houses. Sounds boring, pathetic, and a little sad.
