Gamma Phi isn't on the level of the top 3 yet! They're improving, no doubt, but still haven't won anything yet. We shall see how they do in U-Sing and HC with their new pledge class, but for now, I think the rankings are:
Kappa
Tri Delt
Theta
GPhi
Pi Phi
XO
DG
APhi
AXO
AOPi
AGD
There's a clear drop-off between the tiers. Gamma Phi might be debatably 4th, but they definitely aren't on the level of the top 3 yet!

Kappa hasn't placed in much either. Every house has girls that may look like scoobs because every house takes girls for various reasons including legacies, best friends, and girls that amazing for something besides looks.
While Gamma Phi may not be top 3, I agree that they are definitely head and shoulders above the ones Tiers has as its second tier - Pi Phi and XO.
I'd move them to the bottom of the top tier. And no I'm not in GPB, PBP, or XO.

Off the top of my head, I think Kappa came in 2nd in Prez trophy and 2nd in U-Sing. I can't think of a single thing Gphi has placed in lately and they didn't win an award in U-Sing or make the Scandals show last year.
I like GPhi a lot, don't get me wrong, but I think it is at the very least premature to rank them "head and shoulders" above traditional powerhouses Pi Phi and Chi O especially considering both of those two houses have won much more lately than GPhi.
If you were ranking pledge classes at this moment, then yes, GPhi would exceed the other two. But as of right now, GPhi's PC 11 hasn't done anything significant enough on campus to warrant all of this greek rank praise.
After U-Sing and Homecoming results, maybe I'll agree with you, but right now, I agree with the Tiers below that have GPhi on the level of PBP and XO

Interesting theory that winning anything whatsoever is necessary for you to consider a house a top tier house. Kappa didn't win anything the year before and they were still a top house. I'm senior and I've seen Pi Phi and Chi O plummet from being --I wouldn't say powerhouses-- but certainly good houses to being very weak in recruitment and embarrassing in behavior.
I know which houses my house competed against and it wasn't those two - it was Gamma Phi and the other top houses.
You're entitled to your opinion, but I think most of the people that are at OU now (not the alums that are on here all the time) would consider Gamma Phi to have more in common with KAT, KKG, and DDD than with PBP and XO.
Having said that, though, I have friends in every house that I love dearly. I think OU is blessed to have a wonderful greek system.

My logic behind the "having to win something" is that there aren't very many times when sororities go directly up against each other, house vs. house. Looks, involvement, etc are obviously important, but they're more of a subjective thing than anything else.
I like numbers and statistics. Direct competitions such as U-Sing, Scandals, grades, return rates (which I don't think have been released), etc allows us to objectively compare houses as a whole. It eliminates bias. It says "this house put up its very best girls and was unable to win a single award or place in the show"

I've read the stuff below. I don't know you and I don't know what house you're from (I can guess) but I disagree with you.
Rush is when sororities go head to head in the only competition that I think really matters.
My opinion? Based on the girls I've seen at parties, CAC committees, etc., in looks, personality, grades (I think they were 2nd? in grades), they are a top house.
