I don't have any stake in which tier certain sororities are in. My house is pretty consistently top 3 in rankings. I believe, though, that I have a good feeling for what houses we compete with because we ask pnms on pref night. I don't know any who had A Phi but several had G Phi. So I'm putting G Phi in the top. No I don't think they're the same as Kappa and Theta reputation-wise, but they do get quality girls.
The houses that take girls with top grades, activities, and recs. They are generally the most sought after by pnms and generally have the best reputation at OU:
Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi, and G Phi
These houses have an okay reputation with the guys but are considered much wilder than the ones above - more partiers:
A Phi, Chi O, DG
Alpha Tier: These houses are still great options and have great sisterhoods:
AOII, AXO,and AGD

Most GPhis I know had GPhi-Chi O, GPhi-APhi, or GPhi-DG. Granted, there are a few who had Gphi and a top 4 house (one of my good friends chose GPhi over pi phi for example), but there are also a few who had GPhi/AOPi and one I know had AGD.
They have the potential to be a top house and the drive to get there, but as of right now, they're only a top house on this site, not on actual campus. Love em though.

I don't know who you know, but my Gamma Phi friends almost all had top houses on pref. I know one that had AOII (she was a legacy to AOII) and one that had Chi O.
I am reposting this off their wall:
...most Gamma Phi's do have one of the other top houses on pref. night. I'm in a "top house" and would def. choose them over one house in particular that's considered "top 4".
As I said, I don't have a stake in this, but I feel like someone is being a little misleading on here. The only time I comment is when I see something I think is intentionally wrong.
