Kappa, Theta, Tri Delt, Pi Phi, and G Phi

These houses have an okay reputation with the guys but are considered much wilder than the ones above - more partiers:

Chi O, DG, A Phi (maybe)

Alpha Tier: These houses are still great options and have great sisterhoods:

A Phi(maybe), AXO, AOII and AGD

That is very false. Gamma Phi simply does not compete on the same level with KKG or Theta. GPhi is very much on the same level as Alpha Phi, most girls have both of those houses on pref night. It should be:

Top: Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi and Tri Delta

Upper Middle: G Phi and A Phi

Middle: Chi O and DG

Bottom: AOPi, Alpha Chi and AGD

Within each tier, order them as you may like but those are the houses that compete with each other in reality

I don't understand how Aphi can compete with GPhi if they don't have a grade requirement and call girls on bid day/spring rush multiple girls. GPhi does spring rush but I think it was only 1 or 2 girls because they filled their requirement early on, unlike Aphi. I'm not in either house but it makes me angry when people say Aphi is competition to top houses.

No one is saying APhi competes with REAL top houses, like the top 4, but neither does Gamma Phi. They only spring rushed 3 or 4 girls, and even Kappa COBed this year, so you can't use that to determine it. No one knows the official grade requirements. The truth is that during rush G Phi, A Phi and Chi O compete with each other

Sorry, but A Phi does not compete with the others including Gamma Phi. Their grade requirements are lower and they snap bid and COB. They're a good house, but just not on the same level as any of the top 5. Also, most A Phis have AOII on pref night. You can ask if you don't believe me. Really, there's nothing wrong with A Phi, they're just not on this level even though they want to be. (I'm not in either one of these houses.)

The only reason they snap bid is because they have a huge house. I don't think that should be counted against them. In order to fill their house, they have to have a much larger pledge class than any of the other houses. If the other houses had that issue, they would be in the same boat. However, I agree that this makes them less apt to compete on the same level as the top 4, but I still think they can compete with GPhi at least potentially. If it weren't for their huge house, it wouldn't be an issue. They really do get great girls.

Let me throw in my opinion. A Phi does have some great girls, but that's not all they have because of the snap bids. It's not like it's held against them to snap bid, it's held against them that they're taking many less desirable girls. The top 5 (yes, I'm including Gamma Phi) don't have the less desirable girls. That's just the truth.

I actually AM in a top house and I can tell you that none of my friends had gamma phi on pref and not one of them think of gphi as competition. Truth of the matter here is that GPhi and APhi are on the same level with Chi O.

Either you're all Gamma Phis or you don't understand OU greek life. Competition means that people would be equally happy with your house or their other house on pref night.. that can not be said of Gamma Phi and the real top houses and you know that. Gamma Phi and Alpha Phi are on the SAME level.. along with Chi O because people will be equally happy.. classy girls go gphi, pretty girls go aphi, fun girls go chio
