Last summer, this site was all about naming the top 2 houses. Then once rush came around it was all about the top 3. Then around winter it was all about top 4. Now everyone wants to talk about being in the top 5 houses.

In about a year, we're going to hear girls bragging about being in a top 11 house.

Some get so confused that when the top houses drop them they withdraw from recruitment rather than pledge a lower tier house. We need to let them know that we do have 11 great houses and they will find one to be happy in regardless of ranking.

I disagree. I think they're girls that read and hear about how there are only a few good houses at OU. That's not true, but they don't have any way of knowing that. We have 11 houses where girls can find sisterhood. It makes me sad that girls who could enjoy that sisterhood are scared off by all our notions that top houses are good and the lower houses are bad.

Me again. I kind of came off as harsh with my comment earlier. My point was, I agree that every house has great sisterhood. I don't want to name my sorority because people might take it the wrong way. But it's not a "Top 4." Anyway, I had a friend rush as a sophomore and she got cut from the top 4 sororities. Then she decided to withdraw altogether. I'm sorry but even though she's my friend, I didn't bother trying to talk her into not dropping. Because I wouldn't want a girl in my house if I had to CONVINCE her to join it (provided she got a bid, that is).

I personally think that this site is for insecure girls anyway. I know some people want to make this site all positive. But that's too much of a pipe dream. I mean it's a website where girls rank sororities and get to say whatever they want about them anonymously. The people who made this site were expecting drama when they made it.
