Hey y'all! I am starting to shop for next year and I'm wondering what kinds of things y'all wear tonclass and to go out?

OU is very casual, which believe me, is the best thing ever. You usually wear nike shorts and a tee shirt to class, with flip flops or sperry's. In the winter, you can wear leggings or jeans, it doesn't matter. You never have to dress up for class though! As for going out, I found that the first few weeks, girls get a little more dressed up, with cute dresses and skirts and such, but as the year progressed going out became more and more casual. Jeans and a cute top are always perfect :)

thank you so much! are designer things a big deal like they are in high school? any popular brands? anything i should absolutely never wear?? lol

It's better to learn from experience. As long as you don't look like a total scoob, you'll be fine.

I disagree with the girl below me. When it comes to how to dress "learning by experience" is never good! The only thing I would say not to wear is a t-shirt with "Abercrombie" or "Hollister" splashed across the front. Designer jeans are good, but not required to fit in.

Yeah I completely agree with that. No graphic tees, and that's about it. Anything polo is great, although it doesn't have to be. Big tee shirts are good, just whatever really. And on the weekends I would say designer is a semi-big deal, nobody's gonna dislike you if you don't have it of course, but most people where as much designer as they can.

Guys are probably judged more for clothes than girls, believe it or not. Just remember, its better to be safe than sorry. Don't try too hard.
