DG and Gamma Phi are good girls. However, unless you're a little on the promiscuous side, you won't fit in at Alpha Phi. Just being completely honest with you. With 90+ member pledge classes their sisterhood is also very weak.

Good Lord, no! I am not promiscuous! Thanks for the honesty. I know it will all come down to Rush...and who wants me, as well. I look forward to it and will keep an open mind.

That seems about right.

I would keep an open mind about all the houses. I think it is safe to say that people disagree about how houses rank against each other, so you'll never find the "truth." I personally would rank them
Theta / Kappa
Tri Delta / Pi Phi
Chi O / Gamma Phi
DG
AOII
Alpha Phi
Alpha Chi
AGD

that seems pretty accurate but i would go ahead and tie tri-delt, theta, and kappa...they're definitely quite a bit above pi phi these days and i would go ahead and tie pi phi and chi-o

i'm a dg and i love my sisters... but i also have really good friends in g-phi and alpha phi... all three are great houses for different reasons... find the one where you fit best... its great to take your families' opinions into consideration but make sure you choose that house that's best for you! good luck!

The whole "brother fraternity" phenomenon doesn't really exist on this campus, but if you look at who pairs with/dates whom the most, this list is pretty accurate:

Theta/Beta (Top houses)

Kappa/SAE (Typically come from old money, most are pretty hard partiers)

PiPhi/Lambda (Pretty girls with pretty boys)

TriDelt/SigEp (Nice guys who like to party)

Chi-O/Delt (Partiers and are relatively uninvolved)

Gamma Phi/DU (They are both upper middle tier and are hardworking. There are also several GPhi/DU relationships.)

DG/Phi Delt (Nice guys who aren't the hardest partiers in the world)

AXO/Fiji or Sigma Chi (hardcore partiers in second-rate houses)

Alpha Phi/KA (both should be GDIs)

AOII/ATO (bottom-tier houses who work very hard and are on the rise)

AGD/Pike (Both are dead last, if you don't consider Sigma Nu, Phi Psi, etc. And they pair together for events)

This was hard and don't take it too literally.
