sorority comments

I just got on here and read some of the past pages of comments. One complaint about Alpha Phi is that they are on here a lot saying how attractive they are. I agree that they do have some pretty girls, but they're girls we (top house) cut for grades or rep. That's why the AXOs have some cute girls too. They're just not as desirable girls during recruitment. To me, the ranking for popularity means desirability during recruitment -- not whether people like you. Also, to be honest, A Phi has as many unattractive girls as they do attractive ones. That's just a byproduct of having such a large house to fill. I do think they've done a good job in a short amount of time, but they are not above Gamma Phi or Chi O in my opinion.

I think A Phi, G Phi and Chi O are all on the same tier no matter what order you put them in.

Top:
Kappa, Theta, Tri Delta, Pi Phi

Upper middle:
A Phi, Chi O, G Phi

Lower Middle:
DG, AOPi

Bottom:
AXO, AGD

am i the only one who thinks a phi has the potential to become top house? like look at tri delt. they didn't used to be very good at all but now they're top 3. i think that could be the path a phi is going down?

I don't know why all of a sudden Alpha Phi would be considered a top house at all. They brag about releasing all African Americans the first day. They're not selective at all. I'm in an undisputed top house and I would put them below DG. They just seem really redneck to me.

A phi has no potential to become a top house at all

Truly, the only people who think A Phi is a top house are A Phis. I, too, am in an undisputed top house,and I agree that A Phi more AXO than DDD. They have some pretty girls, but they're not at all selective. I'd say Gamma Phi is more on the DDD trajectory.

Can everyone stop saying we think we're a top house? It's making us look really bad, and we honestly don't think that at all. We realize we're new, but we're trying really hard to improve our standings within OU Panhellenic. My sisters and I love all our pan sisters and don't think we're better than anyone, and we especially don't think we're a top tier house. We're working towards it, but for now we all know we're not. We all love being A Phis and of course I'd tell anyone that it's the greatest sorority in the world, but anyone would say that about their house. However, it would be false and big headed for us to think we're top tier. So I assure you we don't. Thanks!
