ou greeklife v. texas greeklife

Which is bigger? I feel like OU has a better suppported Greek community and perhaps higher caliber greek members than UT?
The top fraternities and sororities at OU appar to have more alumni involvement and greater participation to OU campus than say the Texas top tiers (more insular and arent involved). Also look at the houses. Fiji Beta Lambda chi houses blow away anthing Texas SAE Fiji Sigep have.

I heard the beta house was 9 mil, so that's actually steeper than OU FIji and double UT fiji

ever seen the beta or lambda house at OU. the beta one is double ut fiji or sae $

Texas is hands down nicer. Fiji's addition is superb and Kappa Sig has a cool mountain lodge and is about to build a new chapter house. SAE has a dorm like house (really nice) and Sig Ep is ok.

Oklahoma Beta theta pi is renovating and adding to their historic mansion to the tune of $9 million. That's a lot of dinero to play around with. Tell me which TU fraternity's got that kind of $$$ going to a house? Nada. Oklahoma FIJI's house eclipses TX FIJI. The new addition ($5.5 million) isn't all that special--just more space. I've been inside the old and new section of Tau Deuteron. The party room is a nice space (big yes) as well as the individual rooms. However the original mansion is seriously falling apart and in real bad shape. TX Rho has nothing special. Just a glorified Dorm-style house (like you said) with a lot of concrete and limestone. TX SigEp at least looks like a traditional Fraternity house.

more competitive academically which is irrelevant for this topic. OU fiji, OU beta are old money and cut legacies every year. Both of their houses out weigh financially any house on campus in austin.

beta at OU is a top dog. OU Fiji is also top tier. Betas are known everywhere at ou and they often turn down legacies during rush. Meaning getting a foot in the door isn't easy. They will only consider top tier kids typically with money. They're new house says it all. It is the most expensive house in the country. The hell with OU vs TX. I'd stack ou beta with any chapter out there as far as elite goes.

UT and Austin is way bigger than OU and Norman but if you look closely at both schools top houses you see OU Fiji, OU beta and maybe even lambda chi bigger, more expensive, and nicer than UT Fiji,UT SAE and UT sig ep. The greek system at UT for how much bigger they are student wise and school wise should leap mile stones over OU's but they don't at all. Its very close but when OU becomes a wet campus again they will easily surpass UT

Than any texas house. I've been inside tx sae and tx fiji and tx sigep.mOu beta is making renovations and addition to their house that are 2x more expensive than tx fijis recent addition. Ou fiji house is also many times nicer than tx fiji.
