top houses
by: Beta PledgeBecause im curious, i would like to know what fraternities are well-respected on campus. I am a legacy and im from southern Texas, i came into OU just 100% deadset on Beta and i am kind of upset that i did not look around more. Not that i regret rushing Beta but just because i hate leaving "what if's" in my life. Opinions?

Beta won president's trophy and Lambda was runner up. Several other fraternities won special awards, including Sig Ep. But you probably knew that. You should look around and see who's respected instead of asking anonymous people who may not give you the correct advice because they have their own issues. There are lies written everywhere on this site, so beware of what you are willing to believe.

He said nothing about IFC. BYX does events with sororities and most people consider them in the same way they do IFC fraternities.

I agree, Beta, Sig Ep, BYX are the most respected on campus. You pledged the top house at OU right now as far as leadership, academics and a very involved house on campus. Not to mention the massive house they are building. Sororities love partnering with them because they are such great, responsible guys. Lots of future lawyers and doctors in the house. Rest assured you made a great choice! I had the same concerns after I pledged my sorority, but now I know it was where I was meant to be!

don't disagree but he sounds like he meant IFC frats and BYX isn't one so you are left with Sig Ep and Beta
