This is the order that most OU students would agree to. The rest of the ranks you see on here are bs concocted by a girl who thinks greek rank is the way to get her house noticed by guys and high school girls. It does get them noticed, but not in a good way unfortunately.

Oh for gosh sake -- let's get real. I loved my sorority (at another university), but Gamma Phi has never been more Recruiting-Competitive than Pi Phi at a major southwestern university in history. (And that's really what ranking is -- not an objective rank of any given sisterhood, which by definition is impossible because it depends on your viewpoint.) Gamma Phi has almost 2.5 times more "rank votes" than the next closest sorority (Chi O) and nearly 4 times more rank votes than Pi Phi. Do you think that doesn't get noticed? Girls, or girl, and/or OU alums -- please give it up and re-direct some of that energy and organizational skills toward the REAL things that will strengthen Gamma Phi -- volunteerism, USing or Scandals, academics.

Responding to "Above,": They definitely sound like a strong house. I stand corrected if so many of their friends in other houses ranked them in their defense but this is the first time that I've seen anyone say that. Defend, maybe -- but pull the ranking lever 1,000+ times for another house? Hope you're right; it would certainly speak well of Greek unity at OU. As far as Pi Phi being relevant, if you will actually LOOK at the original post, it had Gamma Phi listed #4, ahead of Pi Phi. (Also ahead of Chi O, but that's one hornet's nest I don't want to stir up.) As I said -- if you make the assumption that "rank" refers to competitiveness during Recruitment rather than to the intrinsic worth of any given house -- I think it strains credulity to say that Gamma Phi surpasses Pi Phi ON THAT MEASURE. And as an alum., it seems to me that it makes them look desperate, which they don't need to be.

Are you that GPB girl? No one else at OU would put them higher than 7 and most would rank them 9.
