why?
by: transferI'll be transferring in the fall and am wanting to rush, but why do sororities look down upon sophomores so much? What chapters do I have the best chance with?

All houses like sophomores who have something to offer. The person above is just trying to run down some houses so pay no attention. She has no reason to think that those houses take more sophomores. If you have great grades from college, lots of activities, and good recs, you'll have a good chance with any of the houses. They don't take as many sophomores but there are not as many going through recruitment.

Is actually more correct but only each house knows for sure. The top 5 are hard to break into because so many girls want them. Alpha Phi is next. DG and AXO and GPB are easier and all the OU houses are great so any bid you get you can be happy with and don't overlook AOPI and AGD either.

Chi O is especially hard to break into. But not because so many girls want them. It's because you have to be a QR (questionable reputation) reject from one of the actual top houses. You also have to have a lower grade point and fewer high school activities. There are not that many houses that want girls like that and so Chi O had to offer quite a few snap bids to girls who were released from all the houses last August.
