Competitive with other schools?

How does OU plan to be competitive in the SEC as far as recruitment goes?
No way you are on Arkansas’ level. Ole Miss? Bama?
Bid day alone was sad compared to the others.

In terms of football, yeah that’s the point of moving to the SEC. But the original poster was commenting on how OU can’t compete with other Greek life in the SEC. And college is about so much more than Greek life and football. I don’t think OU is going to have a hard time recruiting students, filling up Greek life and having a fun football season. So kindly take your negativity elsewhere

Who wants a PC with 200 new members? Not us! The SEC schools mentioned need to add other chapters or cap recruitment to level out those numbers. No member is going to develop connections with 400 "sisters."
Now, go pick on Mizzou, Auburn, LSU, Miss State or any of the other schools in the SEC that have a more responsible Pan model that aligns with ours, you troll.

As an SEC greek alum from two SEC schools I can say OK does not need to change. Right now they have at least 5 sorority houses needing to give out COBs. Not every SEC school is a big greek one. Plenty of people at OK are happy. Maybe other SEC schools can learn from OK.

What a dumb question. Who cares what other universities are doing as far as recruitment goes? Obviously, if you're going through recruitment, you've already chosen to go to OU! And if you did pick your school based on some perceived level of Greek life, then you're an idiot who's not going to college for the right reasons.

So, football then?
Either way, OU is doomed in the SEC.
