by: Such a good postI saw this on a recent post and thought I'd give it a boost since it's true and will explain the ranks on this website. "You need to realize how people come up with these ranks. No girl knows much about the other houses -- just what they learned during recruitment. They don't even write these ranks. Guess what? It's alumns and moms who are writing all the ranks you read. They tend to rank their own houses as top houses and say something catty about their competition. As a pnm I believed what I read on here and made a couple of mistakes during recruitment. I agree that you should find a house where you enjoy the girls and feel somewhat close after just one week. Don't choose by these ranks. They don't represent the experience of their members or the reputation of the houses on campus."

The most important thing to remember is that are negative and positive things about every house and you need to find a house that fits your personality. If you don't, you can still have a fun time, but there will be somewhat of a struggle. If grades aren't important to you, Theta will be a struggle because they see grades as super important. If you only see skinny girls and you're not naturally skinny, there's going to be pressure on you to lose weight. If their rep is being pretty, expect to be required to do hair and makeup even for a early class. They may act like they think you're perfect now, but they're interested because they think you have potential. That's why the girls themselves are happier in the "girl next door" sororities.

if you change yourself to fit the status quo in order to be like every literal girl from your sorority, then you need to learn to love yourself and set healthy boundaries so that you don’t end up living a life someone else planned out for you. Y’all wanna say that girls in top houses are miserable but y’all living on this website during literal recruitment week because your so insecure with your ability to rush a girl is pathetic and is why you probably won’t be getting the girls you want! BE YOURSELF AND STOP PUTTING ON A FRONT THE PNMS ARE LITERALLY IN THE SAME SHOES WE HAVE ALL BEEN IN, DO BETTER FOR THEM!
