Sorority tier list
by: GreekI’ve been seeing the same houses be listed as top houses for the past 3-5 posts. I’m rushing this year, and I also see the same houses at the bottom. Are sorority ranks really like that or are they changing? Like are any of the bottom tiers moving up or top moving down?

This is the worst ranking ever...ChiO is BARELY considered a top house. Pi Phi has struggled the past 5 years and did better last year but that doesn't fix their issues. Top houses, they are not. And to the OP, yes there are several old mid tier houses that have been on the rise for some years and these other houses can't stand it...they've dropped and others have risen. Good luck!

Not one singular soul thinks chi o or pi phi are middle/bottom. they are top houses

It’s been the same top 5 houses for a long time so those houses every year get the best girls. I don’t really ever see that changing just because they’re the ones dominating the Greek life here. If you get good girls in a PC then those girls will continue to rush good girls. I see it as
Top: Chi O, Pi Phi, Kappa
Mid top: Tri Delt Theta

You need to realize how people come up with these ranks. No girl knows much about the other houses -- just what they learned during recruitment. They don't even write these ranks. Guess what? It's alumns and moms who are writing all the ranks you read. They tend to rank their own houses as top houses and say something catty about their competition. As a pnm I believed what I read on here and made a couple of mistakes during recruitment. I agree that you should find a house where you enjoy the girls and feel somewhat close after just one week. Don't choose by these ranks. They don't represent the experience of their members or the reputation of the houses on campus.
