Do you have to be invited by members to rush parties

I just signed up for rush and my older cousin that graduated last year told me about a summer rush party thats happening soon. Should I go if he told me when and where it is or do I need to wait for someone to reach out to me? I’ve heard summer stuff is important for guys so I don’t want to miss out if it’s something I should be at, but also don’t want to show up if u need a direct invite

Yes summer stuff is important for good houses. I know beta, ato, sig ep have like 90% of their pc before rush even technically starts
