Houses and politics
by: Sooner
Hello
Can you tell me which houses lean more toward the progressive side? And which lean more toward the conservative side?
This is important to me and I cannot really tell from their instas.

The person who posted above me is right, there are girls from either side in every house. That being said, there are some houses that lean a certain direction. Most conservative: Theta, Kappa, Tri Delt, and maybe Pi Phi. The rest are about the same. I think one of the “more progressive” houses took an LGBTQ member a couple of years ago, if I remember correctly! Hope that helps :)

Pan Exec and Student Life have totally taken over and pushed an incredibly liberal agenda onto all the houses. If you disagree with anything you're labeled as a bigot, so conservative women are forced to stay quiet (which is the opposite of the "diversity" they say they are so invested in). Be careful, but stand up for yourself and your beliefs. But be warned that many houses (at least their executive boards) have gone full-blown leftist.

There are unfortunately a lot of girls who don’t feel supported by Panhellenic because they are conservative even though there are probably more of them than you would guess. When Panhellenic gets political and posts about liberal ideas without representation of conservative women it is a problem (check their insta stories). I suggest you look to find a group that treats you with kindness and hope that the leadership of Panhellenic makes an attempt to stop making our sisterhood organizations political.

Just to clarify. There is more than 1 LGBQT+ member in the OU Panhellenic. And have even had leaders that were LGBQT+
