What happens when you transfer

I am a member of a sorority at a different university and transferring to OU. Is it possible to become part of my chapter at OU? Would I still live in sophomore year or would that be off the table?

Hi, yes I transferred to OU and all I had to do was contact the chapter before so they could vote on it! I think a lot of chapters will have the sisters vote to accept a new member, but it’s really rare that you get denied transferring in if you’re in good standing with your initiated chapter.

Some OU sororities have juniors live in instead of sophomores, so it would depend on the house if you can still live in! Should be an option though.

I am transferring too and i am iffy ab the housing situation. its the only thing holding me back so if anyone has a definte answer? lmk
