Alpha Phi?????????

by: Sners

Why hasn’t alpha phi put out a statement? Until they do and say that they are removing the 10+ members who have shown vocal and physical support for a domestic abuser who tried to kill his unborn child, their reputation here at OU will just continue to crumble.

I know Alpha Phi has some absolutely terrible values at the national level - could nationals be preventing them from disbanding the chapter as they should or removing these members? Maybe ou alpha phi has their hands tied? If so, all of the sisters who do not support men who try to kill women and children should drop. It’s the only way they can prove that their values don’t align.

I am not an Alpha Phi so this is only a guess. The biological sister of the accused is an Alpha Phi. She has chosen to support her brother. She probably does not condone his actions, but supports him because he is her brother and loves him. My guess is the best way Alpha Phi can support their sister is by remaining silent.

Yeah, the dudes sister, no problem with her supporting her psychopath wanna be murderer brother, you have to stand by family and try to rehabilitate them and support them through their incarceration

The other alpha phis, no excuse, whatsoever, and the chapter needs to condone their actions

sorry, but the best way alpha phi can support their sister is to humanely do so after denouncing the monster and showing support for victims of domestic violence. NOT going to court to support him.

But it’s too late for that now, so they must unfortunately denounce the sisters who did that. The only way.

Anyone think the girls were supporting their sister who has family involved? Does a group not involved with this horrible act deserve this?

That's what I think too. They were supporting their sister. And putting out a statement would be a slap in the face to their sister. So they have chosen to remain silent.

What??? No. 100000% no.

15 girls from a women’s group should not go to court to support a domestic abuser and almost murderer. Even if their “sister” is his biological sister. She can be there - they should not be there unless they are there in support of the woman who was almost killed.

If they had stayed home and held her hand at the alpha phi house, that’s different. You can be there for your sister while she has to come to the realization that her brother is a psychotic homicidal maniac and not show up in support of him as well.

ZERO F£CKING EXCUSES. alpha phi is a disgrace.

Putting out a statement denouncing domestic violence would not be a slap in the face to the perpetrators sister.

Supporting him is a slap in the face to Panhellenic and women everywhere.
