Here at OU top houses are constantly in the spotlight and even their smallest mistakes get blown out of proportion while others find it easier to avoid scandals.
I have friends in EVERY house and each house has something to offer.
Look at houses based on U-Sing, Homecoming, Scandals, GPA, campus involvement, sisterhood (acceptance) etc. to choose which one you'd like to be a part of.
Every recruitment Kappa is very selective due to their alumni influence in the area, Theta is selective based on grades, other "top" houses typically have specific things they're looking for.
The ranks are shifting among the sororities based on different events and factors affecting the PNM's decisions. Reputation is important but we cannot base a sorority's reputation off of one event or person or even rumors.
Try and keep it clean on here and if you're a PNM try and avoid going into recruitment with expectations of any house.

Winning isn't as important as participating and either placing or receiving some recognition for it. Some houses like Chi O and Pi Phi that constantly promote themselves on greekrank didn't even make the latest U-Sing show. That's how you know they're not top houses.

I'm not a Gamma Phi but if I had to choose between them and Pi Phi I would definitely take Gamma Phi. At least they made using!

But PiPhi actually Wins stuff-- like homecoming last year. Gamma phi has never won anything and funny they bring up using cuz they didn't make scandals last spring! Loserville--every girl in GPB was cut by PBP too!

To tell the truth, Pi Phi is on a down slope. This year they had to snap bid to make quota and didn't even get into the USing show. That's the honest truth and just so you know I'm not in the house you're probably going to say I'm in.

Girls drop when they don't get the top 5 ( theta Tridelt kappa chio piphi) back but sometimes those girls were top girls but houses cut them because they thought they were going to go a certain way based on things like family influences friends any number of things. Pi phi can go back and snap bid those girls. But if you end up in a house that is not a top 5 house you were definately cut by all 5 of those houses. The girls who dropped preferred not to be Greek rather than settle for a lower house. Sometimes it's a win win but the PNM has to have the courage to do it. Doesn't matter what house your in above. Facts are facts. Top houses are required to drop so many more girls than their lower counterparts and since the top goes after the same girls sometimes the number cruncher got it wrong. Those girls didn't want a lower house so they dropped-- lower houses wanted them but couldn't get them. As far as your using jab goes GPB didn't make scandals in the spring and hasn't ever won anything ever-- pi phi is still a top 5 house but alpha phi is coming on strong. I'm not in any of those houses either I'm just an honest Greek

The people you're taking about are in college. They don't have any money other than what has been given to them. The people in life that make it make money on their own. When you rush look for work ethic, not the life of the party who has a great time on his parents' money until he drops out.
