OK Karen guess you just proved her point. I'm not a GPhi either and they definitely are top tier if you look at the quality of the nm class. You want to beat them up some more because I posted positive?

GPhi isn't moving up except on GR because irl they were already a top house. They're just not on here so people on GR don't know about them

I think GPhi had a terrific pledge class this year and last year (no idea before that). IDK where they started tho. I wouldn't put them top tier, but at the high end of the middle tier.

As a rho g it was obvious which houses girls wanted and gamma phi was up there with theta and tri delta. Kappa and pi phi were kind of together. Aphi, AXO, DG,and XO were in the same mix. So were AOII and AGD.I'm not going to say those are "ranks" because that's a pretty stupid concept. But the houses mentioned together were the ones that girls kind of grouped together. Usually if they got an invite back to one of those houses they got invites back to the rest in their group.

I agree with you. I was a Rho Gam two years ago and Theta, DDD, and GPhi seemed to recruit the same "type" of girls. TBH, I think most girls preffed them in that order too (Theta, DDD, then GPhi), but noboby was crushed when GPhi came in on their bid card. IF they didn't get the "top 5" name, they were happy to have a solid house with a great sisterhood. In contrast, there were a lot of other houses where girls dropped rush rather than return or pledge certain houses.

I noticed also that KAT, DDD, and GPB attracted the same type girls but thought there were subtle differences. I thought it depended more on how girls saw themselves. More girls went KAT that saw themselves strongest in academics. More girls went DDD that thought involvement was the most important. The girls that went GPB didn't think either of these were the most important thing in college. I knew lots of girls that had these for pref and they preffed all different combos. I would disagree about "not having the top five" because girls that liked these houses usually didn't like KKG or PBP as much because they are really different. Besides most girls that liked these houses consider them all top five. This year I could see girls who didn't get any of these houses going DG rather than Pi Phi or Kappa. Of course they would be miserable in XO or AXO or esp A Phi. I don't see them being satisfied with AOPi or AGD either.

I’ve never seen a more insane post to uprank GPhi. I’m from Tulsa and not one girl thinks GPhi is same level as theta. Not only that, they choose APho, AXO, and XO over GPhi 9/10 times. So this is dumb and fake news

I agree that no girl that likes A Phi, Alpha Chi, or XO would rank G Phi above them. They're completely different in every way. The girls that like AP, AXO, XO are, no offense, more interested in appearances. So they will also take houses that appear to have a higher ranking on GR. My observation is that girls that like Theta would rather go G Phi than AP,AXO, or XO. I'm not from Tulsa, I'm from Dallas and I'm not in any of the houses I mentioned. Just making an observation.

At the same time, no girl that likes G Phi would want XO, AXO, or poor A Phi (they're having a terrible time, sorry, girls). So that girl is gonna rank those three houses below. That's why ranks don't work on here.

This is the exact truth. Most people who really go here would never put a target on a house. The trolls jump on houses where that happens like they did with the house in #4 above.

I’m 3rd year PiPhi but I can give credit where it’s due and my opinion is AlphaChi. I have friends that are AlphaChi and my freshman roommate. So I know that they have risen and doing well. I know the AlphaChi hater will comment several times posing as different people spouting her hate towards them. Don’t buy into her bitterness.

Pi Phi and Alpha Chi are a lot alike. That said, it is bringing Pi Phi down rather than bringing Alpha Chi up.

Chardonnay drinking mom here - From the time I went to OU until now, I"m going to have to give that award to Alpha Phi.
When I went through recruitement, Alpha Phi's numbers had dropped so much they had closed a wing of their house. From that time, they have brought themselves back to a solid house. I was actually really surprised when my daughter went through recruitment and showed me photos of the women in APhi. They have changed a lot.
Quite an accomplishment considering where they were.

Alpha Phi attracts a certain type of girl that used to drop out of recruitment because they got cut from the better houses because they were either QR or a grade risk. If a girl is pretty, now there is A Phi for her to fall back on. It's pretty smart of them to go after a group that used to not find a place. IDK if that means they're moving up, but they are attracting the kind of girls they like.

Good point - not sure if it means they have moved up or not, but at least they are making quota (or close to it).
And I do think they are mostly pretty girls...but always wearing 3 pounds of make up, 1 inch fake eyelashes, and clothes that scream "I need attention".

Look no further than aphi nationals - they are the root of the problem... literally no other Panhellenic chapter is vapid and shallow at their NATIONAL level, but that’s exactly what aphi is

The biggest problem with A Phi is that they don't care about grades which the other houses do. (Well except AXO). AXO and A Phi have the lowest grades EVERY SINGLE SEMESTER!

Why do you even argue this. It is a KNOWN FACT that houses like theta, Pi Phi and Kappa drop girls from their rolls before grades come out. They cheat to win...so if that is how you base a rank then you are just dumb.
