This is reality!!
There are 3 tiers:
Theta, Kappa
DDD, Pi Phi, AXO, XO, APhi
GPhi, DG, AOPi, AGD
I'd say almost in that order as well. Middle Tier is interchangeable based on what you're looking for. Some are more involved than others where some party more than others where some are pretty girls. Ranks are based on a lot of things. And if you ask ANY guy, they never rank a girls house based on involvement. They rank on fun, looks and cool girls! And I'm sorry but fraternities liking houses DOES MATTER!

OP is right - Random fraternity guys probably don't care about how involved you are. And some girls care about what random fraternity guys think. And those girls do whatever is necessary to be considered "cool girls". That makes me sad that these girls base their worth on the opinions of guys who probably don't care much about them, other than a cute, drunk hook-up.
But it was important TO ME to be involved on campus and I was looking for people who were like me. I wanted to find my girl gang.
So I graviated toward houses that emphasized more involvement. And TBH, the only house who cut me after the second day was the stereotypical "party house" so I wasn't a match for them either. It doesn't mean the houses that party are bad girls. Those girls were just looking for a different college experience.
So OP, maybe what guys think does matter to you. But it doesn't matter to everyone.
