The crescent moon plus the star is the sign for Islam (not "radical islam [sic]," you right-wing nut), but it actually predates Islam by several thousand years. It was the symbol of Byzantium (later Constantinople / Istanbul). Probably everything you can think of as a symbol has been used by other groups of people with other interests.
Just a suggestion, why don't you broaden your intellectual and academic horizons. Just because you're ignorant now doesn't mean you shouldn't use your time in college to learn about others. "Radical islam" [sic] isn't a thing. There are people who are radical and who are also Muslim, but they don't have a symbol that sets them apart. You're the reason that people laugh about Oklahoma.

What part of the world do you think Islam originated from, helllooo? Like it’s some sort of coincidence it is tied to Constantinople lol. They were Sabean pagan worshippers of the moon you fool. Try taking a history class or a world religions class before spouting off on an internet board.

Yes because GOOGLE is the ultimate authority worldwide for knowledge on every conceivable topic with no inherent biases whatsoever. Why do we pay thousands of dollars for a college education when we have GOOGLE?! Lol
