I actually liked AGD
by: weirdI actually liked AGD a lot going through recruitment and it makes me sad reading all of the posts about them. Being a top sorority isn’t just about looks and I went with my second choice instead of them because they’re a higher tier and i’m really afraid i’m gonna end up regretting it. What do I do?

What you see on GR is not reality. And AGD is not bottom. But all groups have something great about them. Give the group you joined a chance. If by initiation you really aren’t happy, don’t initiate. You won’t be eligible to join another group until next fall. But give the group you joined your full effort. I honestly believe most could be happy in any of our 11 sororities.

You can fall in love with whichever sorority you're in. AGD is a lovely group of girls, but so is the sorority you're in. They all have good and bad points. But if you wait until next year and hope to get an AGD bid, you'll be a sophomore in a freshmen new member class and you will have missed a year of fun. Stop thinking the grass is greener on the AGD lawn and start enjoying the choice you made.

The OP isn’t bashing another sorority, so it doesn’t deserve the hate.
And it isn’t a secret or lie that this site deceives PNMs on the reality of Greek life at OU.

I agree with them but if you do find yourself not liking the house you are in trust me don’t get initiated and wait for a second chance in the fall, and I can also garnered you will love them if that’s what is meant to happen :)
