Anyone know what happened to the girl whose twin is a Kappa that was cut on pref night? I feel so bad for her and was hoping she didn’t drop rush.

I couldn’t agree more, not to dig on Kappas bc I have many Kappa friends but I was bummed to hear this. That’s why I was curious if this happened anywhere else!?

That was a stupid knee jerk reaction which removed a policy that protects PNMs. But regardless Kappa isn’t one of those that ditched their legacy policies. Panhellenic Recommendations and networking are the real issue if you were wondering.
And super sad for those sisters. 😭

I wish it were a hoax. But the older alum sister has a public post about it. This whole situation is super sad.
As a legacy, you can get cut at any time. It was my mom’s worst fear. And I would have been so sad had it happened to me.
I hope she is happy in her house. But sad for the family members. And the parents writing a hefty check to an organization that let them all down for the kappa twin.

Hey houses can choose who they want to invite back and if they think she's going to a legacy house why would they invite them back?

Thankful she found a home. But in house sisters should be protected...they get cut by everyone the majority of the time. I don’t care the reasoning but if you cut an in house sister you are some kind of awful. My 2 cents.
But go AXO for offering her a spot and giving her a home.

If that was a hard no for them they should have spoke to the girl’s sisters. And cut her after first invitation. I know they don’t have to. But it would have been the right thing to do.

If there was something on her resume that made her a no, she and her sister should have been told up front. They should not have been surprised. And the fact she was cut should not have been a post on GR. She should have been allowed to say she chose another direction.
