A lot of that is just to stir up drama. And hopefully no PNMs are on this site for real information.
But the person saying "no that isn't happening" or "quit lying" etc is also very wrong.
I have seen almost every combination at pref over the past few years. Literally every combination. Also seen where lots of girls only had one house to go back to, and every single house (kind of a bonus in a way, because you can get super excited starting now). No one really understands how resumes, and legacies, etc factor in unless they were part of the membership process for a while. All types of girls get invited back to all types of chapters based on those resumes and connections.
So the naysayers are full of it, but so are a lot of the posts. That is why that thread should never even be started.
Enjoy preference, enjoy getting a bid, and if you didn't make it to preference I hope you try COB where the recruitment is more personal. Find your girl gang! You can find them in any of our 11 chapters.
