The problem is though when you are a in house legacy everyone cuts you. This is crappy if it’s true..hope not!

I don’t know the whole story but out of respect for her sisters she shouldn’t have been cut... Especially so late into the week.

I usually don't even rank Kappa good or bad. Kappa takes Kappa girls. I always knew it was about connections, and they have strong connections.

But an in-house twin, and a recent alum sister? How do you get more connected than that?

Also for the parents, dealing with super distressed children. After all the dues paid. People forget about the $$$ families are paying into these groups. Kappa on the high end at that for all the "extra".

How can anyone make this right for this girl and her family? The finality of it just sucks.

If you invite a girl to pref you are saying you are willing to give a bid. Until recently mos orgs make chapters put legacies at the top of bid lists if the are invited so PNMs aren’t strung along. (Which protects families and PNMs, does nothing to help racial divides btw). Kappa had to release before pref or give her a bid. Still mean. And it is a rush week worst nightmare. But luckily Kappa didn’t remove that stipulation like some sororities. Or this would probably be an even sadder story.

This is true. The sister who posted on FB was a kappa alumni. The other sister was a kappa sophomore. Their family is devastated. Heartless girls.
