rankings of the various houses

Rankings are an obsolete method of choosing a house. In the past girls would come to college not knowing anyone. If they joined a sorority, it was one that they'd heard of because someone they knew had previously joined. Now girls come to OU and don't need to do this because they get to choose their own house and no house is "better" than any other house. They're all kind of the same because they all have 250 to 300 girls and they're not all alike. You'll find your own group in your house regardless of what the rank is on this page. There was a girl that was the PNM with the best resume from my school and she joined the house that ranks last on here because her mom and grandma were in that house from another university. She was completely happy and had a wonderful experience. You can too. The houses that rank highest and are talked about the most are the ones that are on here campaigning. Don't let them mislead you. Go with your gut.
