At OU, the top houses as far as being the total package (selectivity, events, grades, president's trophy recognition, etc.) are Kappa, Theta, Gamma Phi, and Pi Phi.
The next tier (Alpha)win and place some things: Alpha Chi (sweet girls, not as pretty), Alpha Phi (prettier but a lot of QRs), AOII (sweet and quirky), and AGD (sweet but not selective).
The next tier are not as pretty as the top tier, don't place in anything significant, have a lot of QRs, and subpar sisterhood: Chi O and DG.
I'm a senior and since I've been here the top has been the same. The middle and bottom have been where the change is. Chi O and DG used to be middle houses with Alpha Chi. They have fallen to the bottom because of their risque behavior at parties and the fact that they don't make USING and SCANDALS or win anything else. AOII, Alpha Phi, and AGD used to be bottom houses. AOII has generally recruited better and came in 3rd for hoco. AGD could still be considered a bottom house but I raised them one level because they made USING and don't take QR girls. But they're not as attractive generally as some of the other houses. They do have some beauties, though, and have really stepped up their game with their latest class.

Chi o was in scandals and DG placed in scandals it was gamma phi who didn't make scandals and gphi has never won either one EVER!! LOL -- tridelt was recognized for pres trophy too.
No girl ever goes into recruitment saying she hopes to be gamma phi-- keep dreaming gphi even took quota additions and girls cut from agd!
Nice try gphi but you're no where near tops your spring new member class had a 2.95 GPA so not smart either!!
Exactly what has GPB ever won? Not using scandals or homecoming-- LOL
Gphi never gets girls the real top 5 or even 6 houses get and competes with house 7 for girls this year they took house 11's leftovers
If you like Gphi pledge them they won't turn you down and they have to spring recruit every year so you'd be in luck this spring but they've never been a top house at OU

Yes, they placed 3rd in HOCO. Just like the original post said they did. Next time read the comment before you get so snarky.

QR refers to labeling girls with bad reps from high school when they are PNMs. Perhaps your house doesn't do this, but most houses look at girls reps before they give them a bid. The girls you refer to were members who made a mistake. I guess you're back to criticizing Kappa and off of Gamma Phi for a few minutes. Why aren't you just satisfied with your own house and able to leave the others alone?

You have a real problem. I dunno what your problem is with Gamma Phi, but you're the only one with the problem. I see you have also been having a problem with Kappa. You're the only one that feels that way too. Don't know if you're stupid or just out of the loop, but placing in the top 3 is considered pretty good.
