If you look at the things that REALLY MATTER, like grades, involvement, contribution to philanthropy, how well houses do in events around campus, a lot of these so called “top houses” would be at the very bottom. period.

You’re right! Many are considered top tier only for shallow, superficial reasons. Why do you think gdi’s make fun of Greeks the way they do? Because so much of it is deserved, sadly.

The top 5 are generally top 5 in grades. The houses people are trying to say are moving up/middle tier are generally always at the bottom and have a somewhat deserved party rep. I also can’t think of what their philanthropies are they are so invisible.

Not true as far as philanthropies. Involvement in campus, etc. several houses are seen all over Unlike several of your “top” houses that you claim.
