fraternity comments

I'm a PIKE, and I'd say we had the best class in a long time. Sig Ep's pledge class seemed decent enough, no bad guys in there. I know the Beta pledge class is average as a whole, but there are a couple standouts in there. Lambda's is so big they can afford to cut the bottom 20% and still be fine. I'm not going to comment on DU, seing as my opinions may be taken out of context as biased. Delt did well.

i agree, there are so many great fraternities at OU especially this year. Everyone has stepped up their game and i think the president's trophy will say a lot about who is the best overall

i'll describe each fraternity in the order they appear on here:
Beta-known for being a great house until they signed this pledge class, they might need to do what pi phi is doing and have next year's pledge class be less about grades. The Beta seniors are without a doubt amazing though and keep Beta near the top
DU-the "fratting hard" fraternity, one of the most involved fraternities on campus but sadly the 5 or 6 most flamboyant members are the one's everyone sees
SAE-definitely known for partying but sadly not much else, if they increased their involvement around campus then they'd be unquestionably one of the best houses
Sigep-extremely involved on campus and usually pretty nice guys but lately they've been getting guys that appear to have very little personality, they also got a couple randos in their pledge class that definitely appear to be hindering them

Delt-pretty nice guys and they appear to really be trying to improve their house, they definitely have been trying to get more leaders into their house but miserably they got 2 strikes which will hinder them for the time being
PhiDelt-pretty good guys but not too many outstanding one's. they're not one of the biggest names on campus by any means, they need to start really stepping up their game if they ever want tridelt to do an event with them
PIKE-i personally always thought creepers which may very well still be accurate but i heard baby aphi's have been going over there? so they MIGHT be getting better but it's hard to say
Sigma Chi-they're ACTUALLY getting better from what i hear, at least in looks and coolness, if they want to be as good as they once were they're going to have to start getting a lot more involved but i think that day is still at least 5 years away

Delta Chi-no house BUT they appear to be pretty nice and made u-sing which was definitely a HUGE surprise to every other greek
ATO-i've heard mixed things, i personally thought the one's i've seen around seemed nice but i heard from their homecoming partners that they were rather full of themselves. i guess greek life will get a good glimpse of them whenever they appear at coastguard
Lambda-stereotypically the "high-school jocks" which there's nothing wrong with. they're pretty involved on campus and continue to become even more involved so that's impressive enough. a lot of people are turned off by their egos however so maybe they can work on that
FIJI-your house is going to be pretty legit there's no doubt but outside of that none of you are really involved on campus which hurts you in the long run
Sigma Nu-fratty-ish guys that are usually pretty awkward, the one's i've met are friendly but not really someone i would ever hang out with
