Does anyone know???

Okay so, I rushed this past fall and was very close to getting a bid from GPhi. I made it to the round before pref night before they dropped me. After I was dropped, I decided to still continue the process and pledged another house. When bid day came, my friend also dropped completely from recruitment but later on got a COB from GPhi. My friend who got a bid was dropped by GPhi after the first round during recruitment. If I wouldn’t have pledged the house I was in, would I have maybe gotten a COB from GPhi too since I went further in the rounds? (I am no longer in a house, as I have dropped. I’m just really, really curious as to how this works) thx!!!
