hi! There seems to be lots of talk about a few major houses at OU, but i don’t see much about theta at all. What is their vibe on campus?

Hey girl! Theta is a great house and they are super involved around campus. I know it can be easy to get caught up in all of the stereotypes you read online, but please don't take any of this literally. Go into rush with an open mind and be yourself. Even if the house you feel most connected with isn't considered a top house, go with your gut and be with the girls you feel at home with :)

Thetas are a great house! They have a lot of girls from Oklahoma and are usually well connected. Top 3 for sure!

Theta is a lot of girls who are pretty smart and pretty religious. Their rush is pretty competitive, but not really based on looks so there's a lot of variety when it comes to attractiveness, but most of them are really pretty

Black and gold are their colors just like every sorority has colors, mascot, flower etc They have all significant meanings and when you rush a sorority you’ll learn about it during your pledgeship! Hope this helps :)

Black Thetas are the parties!!!

Gold Thetas are the religious goody goodies!

They have group messages and you are either a Gold or a Black

Like she said, the thetas given the black status are given the task of ensuring that they are represented in frats and the party scene and golds are responsible for representing theta in grades and involvement in campus endorsed activities. Though it is important to note that THIS IS A RUMOR. It is very possible and likely that this is 100% made up and false. Take any negative or iffy information about ANY house with a grain of salt.
