why do people dislike alpha gam so much?

My suitemate is an Alpha Gam and I hear about all the hate they get. They're a great house with girls who get involved and are very sweet. They've also done well in USING the past two years. I'm not trying to start anything. I just genuinely don't get why people hate on them. Can someone give their opinion on this?

We hate them because they're our competition. We usually beat them and get the girls we want, but it's a struggle sometimes. I think everyone else likes them and they did win using this year.
