let’s get real!

Let’s get real here people. You cannot label a top 2 or a top 4. What’s happened the last 2-3 years is that there are about 7 houses that girls want or hope to get during recruitment.
People wanna say kappa and theta aren’t top houses anymore because they did bad this year but can you really say there are any other houses that stand out above them?? No! The reality is that the distribution of girls are divided pretty evenly between these houses:
Kappa, Theta, XO, DDD, Pi Phi, AXO and APhi.
That’s why people say things are evening out, because there are no longer 1 or 2 houses that are so far above everyone else. In fact, there is very little difference in the 7 listed above. One house is stronger in grades where another houses is more involved on campus where another house is full of beautiful girls where another house is philanthropy strong and etc. One thing doesn’t determine who is tops...but we all know these 7 houses are great.
Now people are going to argue DG and GPhi. Both really good houses but they aren’t the ones girls are choosing over the other 7 above.
This post isn’t to slam any houses. Because in all honesty OU’s greek system is excellent and even the houses people consider bottom, are really good!

This is 100 percent factual! Thank you for saying it! I think it’s more 6 and AXO is moving up but this is correct. I’m a Kappa and I agree! I have many friends in most of these houses but I do think Aphi is a house many girls from my hometown want over AXO! 6 very strong houses and the rest are doing well also.

See that’s the part that is so interesting. Because last year girls chose AXO over APhi. This year maybe more chose APhi. Each year one house may be a little more chosen over another BUT those two houses for sure are in the 7 houses. And they are moving up for different reasons. And I personally think they’re better than a few of the other 5 listed. But that’s my personal opinion.

A phi was actually my top house from Day 1...I was slightly torn between it and DDD. I went with my heart and chose A Phi! I love my house and all my sisters!

ummmm, nobody choose A Phi over the top five houses- A Phi is an okay back up plan for girls who are cut by Kappa, Chi O, Pi Phi, Theta & Tri Delt

AXO has earned a spot in that 7. I’m PiPHi and think we should give credit where credit is due and they have worked hard these last couple of years and deserve it. I love my AXO first year roomies!
