rankings?
by: Stop!Am really sick of all the ranking talk. It also makes me sad that so many girls think they are better then others just because of the letters on theirs shirts and cars. Every sorority at OU has great girls and every sorority has not so great girls. For someone to say they dropped rush because they didn't get the "top five" houses back is naïve and dumb. Those houses may be considered the best by many PNMs but as we all know, they all have their faults and every girl in them is not happy. Just because a girl did not attend Heritage Hall, isn't in pageants or doesn't come from Highland Park does not mean she is not bright, lovely, and nice. For the top houses to not even consider a girl from say Moore or a public school in Kansas is equally naïve and dumb on their part. Girls who get cut by the houses they were hoping for end up stronger and better equipped to deal with life's troubles. Don't be fooled by perfection ladies, there is no such thing.

@Stop! Your statement is true and obvious. The thing is, some people lack self-confidence and feel the need to constantly be on here fueling their self worth. They are the ones who constantly talk up their own house and run down other houses. 99.99% of the greeks at OU are not on this site. There are just one or two kind of mal-adjusted ones writing all the comments and pretending to be different people. (They're obviously not very bright because they don't realize that everyone else knows it's the same person!) So don't worry. Recruitment is over for a while. Just forget about this site because it doesn't reflect greek life at OU at all.

This site is called Greek rank. If you don't want to see ranks don't get on this site. Lately a girl from a house not known as "top 5" has been saying horrible things about the top houses on this site, those houses have a right to defend themselves especially because the girl targeted them because they are great houses. To say the " top 5" only take girls from certain areas is not true either, and another unfair statement. If you want the comments to stop, then stop saying bad things yourself. If someone drops out of recruitment it is not a "top house" fault. THE GIRL chose to drop. YOU define your letters they don't define you. If girls are dropping it's because of the girls in the house not because of other houses.
If you want to be the solution stop bad mouthing the OU sororities whether they are known as top, middle, or bottom. Being hateful on this site won't change a thing.

When you get on greekrank to make yourself feel better it is kinda pathetic. I agree about the badmouthing and being hateful, though. But those attitudes pretty much define you, so I suspect it will be hard for you to give them up. We'll see, though. I give you about 10 minutes before the badmouthing and hatefulness starts again!

I agree that if you're on this board representing OU, you should be civil. 99% of the comments on here are so rude they reflect poorly on us. Think before you post. Also, think about whether what you're saying needs to be said. I get so annoyed when I see a post and click through to the end only to find that someone wrote a nothing comment agreeing so they could bump the post. Sheeeeeeesh!

Yeah, I'm just going to say that I don't think the comments on here are all from OU students. For one thing, I've never heard people make comments about other houses like I've read on here. I don't think it's a matter of acting civil on this board, I think people at OU are civil --- not just acting civil. That's why I think the badmouthing is coming from some chick somewhere else.

So if its just 1 or 2 ppl posting comments then does that make you 1 of the 2 since you posted a comment? Just trying to make sense of your last post.
