PNMs definitely come to read what people have to say about houses, and almost all of it is false information based on biased opinions. Every house is a good house, and everybody ends up where they’re supposed to be. Saying one thing bad about a specific house (no matter how high or low they’re ranked or what reputation they have) can change the way a PNM thinks even if she really loved said house. No one truly knows what it’s like to be in a house unless they’re in it. The rankings of houses at OU have stayed pretty much the same for many years, and one bad or good rush isn’t going to change the ranking any house has had for 20+ years. Im not going to list rankings or put down any houses, but everybody who knows anything about Panhellenic at OU has a general idea of where each house stands, whether or not they like it. Everybody needs to chill out on spreading rumors or putting down other houses and worry about your own. Odds are they’re not worried about you. Self ranking? Whatever who cares. That’s their house and they can do what they want. If you’re talking crap about a house you’re not even in or affiliated with, why do you care so much? You need to check yourself.

Rankings do change, they have changed from in the past, and will continue to change as long as Greek life is present at OU. A part of loving and respecting each house is giving credit where it is due. Love and appreciate every house’s come up and the improvement each house makes.

What does giving credit where it’s due mean? Serious question. Do you need validation on Greek rank for having better retention rates during recruitment or making Using? I not hating just trying to understand what this means because I see it on here a lot.

I agree that the dragging down of other houses needs to change. And I’ll also agree that one rush doesn’t really mean too much. Besides, I’ve not heard any House unhappy with their new members. Even houses that posters claim had a “bad rush” all seem to love their sisters. I think it’s best to just love your house and have pride in it rather than focusing on what other houses are doing.

If you read between the lines, OP is in an “old” top house who is really mad that any of us lesser houses would dare question whether her house is still tops. Any disagreement with her opinion is hate or dragging people down. Don’t you lesser house girls know your place? How dare you question her right to rule (and tell us we aren’t top houses nor can we rise in the ranks). Nope, things at OU MUST always remain as they once were, because SHE SAYS SO.
News flash sweetie: This is a free country, we can say what we want whether you like it or not, this site is literally called GREEK RANK, like where people post rankings, not GREEK BOW DOWN TO ME AND MY OPINIONS AND DONT HAVE YOUR OWN, and Kappa and Theta ain’t tops any more.

No offense, but you seem like the mean one calling out other houses. All the houses are good. And the girls at OU are stellar. So much of rank is based on national prestige. You may not like it, but it’s true, so just focus on your house and making it great. All the girls at OU know what’s up anyway.

Having an opinion is fine. There is a respectful way to go about it. But posting outright lies, mean gossip, and attacking other houses needs to stop. Seems like I posted this earlier and it was deleted. Anyway, I’m posting it again because it’s the truth.

I think the OP is responding to the lady that keeps posting about AXO and XO. They keep saying they're top houses. The OP says they're not. I don't see why people can't realize that different people rank houses according to different standards. I've read on here numerous times that a couple of houses have moved to to the top tier because they got such hot new classes. I've heard other people say that certain houses were dropped from the top tier because they didn't make U Sing. I've heard one house is so low because of terrible grades and one that is top tier because of good grades. Then someone else ranks the academic house down for being weird and the one with terrible grades up for being hot. It's just stupid. PNMS that join a house just because it's popular often end up quitting because they didn't choose a house that made them feel at home.
