most wanted sororities at ou
by: PC 13
I just went through rush at OU and hands down the top 5 sororities are:
Kappa, Theta, Chi-O, tri delt and Pi Phi (no particular order).
I can't place one higher than the other in this group because each one is unique in their own way and everyone feels differently about where they fit in. But I noticed that the girls that dropped from Rush week was because they didn't have one of these houses left. I had a friend choose Chi-O over Kappa pref night, had one choose theta over pi phi, one pulled a pi phi suicide over Theta cause she hated Theta house. One chose Kappa over tri delt and another chose tri delt over Kappa. There isn't one better than the other. It's just where you feel loved by the girls in the house and where you can see yourself being for the next 4 years and vice versa. Arguing over which house is better is ridiculous!

Posts like these are what makes PNMs drop out of recruitment. They get so caught up with the top house syndrome that they don't take a chance on a house that wants them. I know this site brings out the worst in people. And some trolls might be 58 year old men from Minnesota or something crazy, but stop brainwashing PNMs on what houses are "the best" and most desired. All the sororities are amazing and if THIS was the message pushed across, then more girls would be able to find their homes, which as a Panhellenic system we should all want.

To the girls you know who dropped rush because they didn't have one of your "top" houses left, shame on you! Have fun being a miserable GDI after not giving some really great houses a chance. I know plenty of girls in those houses and to tell you the truth, most of them are happier then the ones in the houses you listed. "Top" does not always mean happy.

If they felt the houses they had left on their party schedules would have made them happy then they would have pledged them. Doesn't make them bad houses by any means just not the houses they wanted to be at for 4 years and pay the cost of pledging them if they weren't going to be happy. You don't have to be in a house to have a great college experience.
