most wanted sororities at ou
by: PC 13
I just went through rush at OU and hands down the top 5 sororities are:
Kappa, Theta, Chi-O, tri delt and Pi Phi (no particular order).
I can't place one higher than the other in this group because each one is unique in their own way and everyone feels differently about where they fit in. But I noticed that the girls that dropped from Rush week was because they didn't have one of these houses left. I had a friend choose Chi-O over Kappa pref night, had one choose theta over pi phi, one pulled a pi phi suicide over Theta cause she hated Theta house. One chose Kappa over tri delt and another chose tri delt over Kappa. There isn't one better than the other. It's just where you feel loved by the girls in the house and where you can see yourself being for the next 4 years and vice versa. Arguing over which house is better is ridiculous!

I definitely was not saying anything against any other sorority. I'm sorry you took it that way. I know a lot of great girls in the gamma phi house and know the girls that pledged gamma phi absolutely love it! I was just saying that the girls that I know that dropped out of rush early was because they didn't have one of these houses left on their choices. My friends and I (our experience) had different preferences within the houses I listed is my only point I am trying to make. Everybody ends up in the right house for them. Rush is pretty brutal but somehow the system works and everybody is usually happy in the end. Definitely not meant to bash in any way. On a side note: I definitely didn't comment until now on my own post.

Everyone knows you weren't being mean. Don't worry about it! Everytime anyone gets on this site and tells the truth about which sororities are the top 5, some girl gets on here and goes off because her house wasn't listed. She keeps doing it over and over!!! Enjoy your pledge class and new house!
