is cob worth it?

by:

I am a freshman, and after about the first week I realized that I probably should have rushed... I just feel like I'm missing out on things. I was wondering if trying to join a house next semester is even worth it or have I missed my opportunity?

Depends on the house you want to join, some do it some don't. You definitely will have a rougher time but its possible.

If you have friends in a house let them know you'd be interested. COB isn't like formal recruitment and depends more on having friends in a house. If someone wants to tell you that "top houses" don't do COB. Tell them thanks for the information then ignore them. Sisterhood has nothing to do with tiers, it has to do with friendship and love. Find people you enjoy hanging out with and let them know you are interested.

If you don’t have solid connections and a 4.0 Gpa COB is really much easier than formal recruitment. Less cost, less stress, and better overall view of the sorority. And gives the sorority a better chance to get to know you.

Totally worth it!
