out of state perspective
by: Out of stater
Coming to ou from out of state this year as a girl going through recruitment definitely had its pros in cons. On the pros side, I knew absolutely no stereotypes. I didn’t know what houses were “top” and which ones were bad. I only knew what I saw. And here were MY rankings on the first day, which my top two remained the same until pref:
1.) Pi Phi
2.) Alpha Phi
3.) XO
4.) Kappa
5.) Tri Delt
6.) AXO
7.) Gphi
8.) DG
9.) Theta
10.) Agd
11.) Aoii
This was all based upon what houses I felt comfortable in and had great conversations with. Stop listening to stereotypes and what your parents are telling you. I don’t expect everyone to agree with my rankings, as we are all different and went through different rush experiences. But, not knowing reputations of the houses definitely puts things into perspective. :)
#2by: Different
Based on this person’s top 2, I totally understand why the rest are ranked the way they are by this particular person.
. Which is very different from how I see them.
Every perspective is different, based on the what the sorority is looking for, and what is important to the PNM.

#5by: This is real problem
Alpha Phi has either contracted an outside firm, or has in-house, a social media response team. They are ALL OVER Greek Rank where there is an Alpha Phi chapter.
This is absolutely real. These are not local chapter members.
This is happening all over the US university’s Greek System.
There is a team doing individual research on what Alpha Phi nationals is doing. This is propaganda. There are no laws against this. Greek Rank is anonymous.
Thank you.

This one is a little all over the place, not as easy to explain. Lends itself to more what this PNM wanted I guess. The first one reflected the type of girl certain sororities want and what the PNM wanted. This one not so much.... to each her own....
