by: Who caresI know this is sort of a stupid question, but do all sororities and fraternities interact? I know tiers don't really matter as much as they claim to on this site, but to a certain point they do. Take homecoming for example. Is that sort of thing rotated or more of a popularity contest? (Top tier A sorority mixes primarily with top tier A fraternity)

Some of the top frats can be really lazy, so sometimes top sororities like to do big events with upper mid-tier houses too.
The frats ask the sororities and they respond yes or no.
Example: SigEp asked Theta( both top tier houses) to do using together this coming year. Theta had already accepted another house's invitation. By that time, all the top tier sororities had already paired with another frat. SigEp had to ask GPB. SigEp then had their pledges demonstrating against theta on the south oval. Guess they weren't happy about the sorority then ended up having to ask!
It was funny, theta took it in stride( kinda a back handed compliment).

Gossip makes the person passing it along look horrible! Sounds like maybe you misinterpreted something and are making it into something to better suit your purposes! Idk, but this person sounds like the same one that has been bashing the sororities and now she's starting in on the fraternities.
