by: CreditSome people are so stuck on old rankings that they don’t give credit to some houses that have moved up in ranking. Everyone talks about the top houses but let’s give credit to some houses in the middle tier. G Phi, AXO, AOPi and DG had great PC’s these last 2 years and looks like they have great girls this year. Cute, sweet girls that are fun and involved. DG and AOPi have definitely moved up to middle tier. G Phi and AXO are great middle tier houses. We need to stop bashing houses that aren’t considered top houses.

I am the og poster, I’m actually in a top house and this wasn’t meant to start bashing on anyone. Everyone talks about the “top” houses all the time. I just wanted to give credit to G Phi, AXO, DG and AOPi for really picking things up these last few years and having great houses.

I get where you’re coming from OP but sadly the first remark was about how the top houses are cliquey and mean girls. That’s not supportive. I am so pleased that all the houses did well! It’s a shame we can’t all be happy for one another and say only positive things.

No, they didn’t say the top tier is cliquey and mean. Just that some considered top tier are cliquey and mean and that they’d rather be a part of inclusive and kind. They didn’t say that all were that way. Calm down

Do you not realize that these are opinions? There is nothing set in stone about which houses are top and which are middle or lower? In fact, if you read the posts you'll find that some you've identified as middle are considered top by other people and some you consider top are considered middle by others.
In other words, the ranking system is a silly exercise in trying to force one's opinion on other people.

Agree, but it is nice to hear about other houses doing well and not just about the same 4 or 5 houses. The whole ranking houses is dumb, but like it or not it happens. Happy for the four listed in OP and agree they have picked it up the last 2 or 3 years and are doing so well! Great job ladies!

I'm not sure that the houses mentioned by the OP need you to praise them for "picking it up" for the last 2 or 3 years. If we agree that all the girls are quality and all the houses are quality, then no one has to "pick it up." And when you identify those that needed to do it, it just sounds hateful.
For those of us in Norman, the reality is that all the houses did do well, all got quality girls, and many quality girls quit recruitment because of people like you. It's sad.

Can’t people post things without it being critiqued?? I swear our entire existence has become that. Just look at media and politics. Can’t say anything without someone assuming you mean the worst🙄
The OP was fine. Wasn’t being negative. And not everyone wins the race. Even though the effort is the best by everyone.

Really? The OP was good then you had to come along and bash top houses. No need to bash anyone.
I agree with the OP. The mid level houses are great here, really all the houses at OU are good. But agree that GPhi, AXO, DG and AOPi have stepped it up a lot the last 2 years.
