The COB or spring rush process is more suited to some personality types. There is nothing wrong with it or the houses that participate. Every house has something to offer--including those that COB or spring recruit.

You're the hater that keeps making OU look bad. Your opinions (and your rude statements) don't have a place in OU panhellenic.

The OP has lost their mind. COB is absolutely a preferred way to rush for some. It is a bit more about the individual and personal. If you get a bid by COB you know it was about you, not your resume. And since at a minimum 5 groups are eligible every semester the OP is an idiot. Over 300 girls didn’t get bids. And All of our sororities are excited to take a longer look at some of those girls who fell through the gaps. They limit the groups eligible only to keep a few from getting too large. And larger groups don’t equal a quality experience. If you are shy or had borderline grades COB is a great opportunity. Or if you couldn’t move 2 weeks early and had to miss formal. All 11 groups offer a quality sorority experience. And are all at the top nationally.

And don’t wait for spring rush. Spring rush is just spring semester COB, you can start bonding with your PC by pledging in the fall.

But in the end, no sorority just hands out bids during COB. If you get a bid, you earned it and are valued!!!!

Spring and COB are only eligible to houses that fall below the average number of girls. Most groups that are eligible can only take a few girls and most already know who they want. There are always girls who fall through the cracks or who are best friends with girls already in the house. It's not at all like formal where you meet everyone. Also you should know that even though 5 or 6 houses may be eligible, some houses choose not to or can't because their rules don't allow them to take more than 1 class per year. So don't count on getting a bid.
